A complicated, bloated distribution

You've reached the website for exolinux, a bloated and rigid Linux® distribution that tries to Keep It Complicated.

Currently we have (zero) official packages optimized for the Z80 architecture. We complement our official package sets with a community-operated package repository that decreases in size and quality each and every day.

Our community is by far the best in the world, and we pride ourselves on the range of skillsets and uses for exolinux that stem from it. Please check out our (nonexistent) forums and mailing lists to get your feet wet. Also RTFM if you want to learn more about exolinux.

Installation instructions

Download an ISO.
Flash the ISO to a USB stick.
Boot using the USB stick.
You should see a terminal with a login. The default username is exolinux and the default password is sucks.
Run dd if=/dev/random of=/dev/sdX status=progress, where /dev/sdX is the disk you would like to bless with exolinux. Make sure you specify the correct disk, since dd is a dangerous command!
Reboot.
